Homemade Granola Recipe

Prep time: 5-10 min

Cook time: 30-35 min



What you'll need to make this recipe:

  • Mixing bowls

  • Measuring cups (½ - 1 cup)

  • Tsp (½ - 1) & Tbsp (1)

  • Oven

  • Cutting board

  • Knife

  • Mixing spoon

  • Storage container to store the produce


Ingredients

2 ½ cups of rolled oats

½ cups of chopped nuts

½ tsp salt

1 tsp of cinnamon

½ cup of maple syrup

3 tbsp melted coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it.

  3. Mix the oats, chopped nuts, salt and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.

  4. In a different bowl whisk together maple syrup, melted coconut oil and vanilla extract.

  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients together until mixed completely.

  6. Spread all of the granola mixtures into an even layer on the baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown (not burnt).

  8. Let the granola cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature.
